Kiwanis meeting of November 4th
Our guests for today included: Mark Maxwell and Stacey Pavelek
The agenda for the meeting included :
1. Doug Kuras will be taking part in the Walk for Warmth this weekend and collected pledges from club members
2. Volunteers will be needed for this Saturday if you can help with decorating Downtown Monroe for the Holidays
3. There will be 2 chances for an interclub coming up 1)Wyandotte Sunrise 11/6 and Wyandotte Noon on 11/17. Contact Don Lutz if you can make one or both of them
4. November 22nd-Volunteers are needed for the Holiday Parade and Carriage Rides
5. December 5th-Volunteers are needed for the Ida Light Parade
6. December 9th-Volunteers will be needed for the Salvation Army Christmas Party
7. The bowling team took all 7 points this week
8. The Kiwanis Lottery ticket Sales are in full swing and members are asked to sell them and get the returns back ASAP
9. Ron Brant and Stacey Pavelek gave out prizes for those members who sold ads for the Kiwanis Newsmagazinr this year
10. Jim Keegan gave a report on the activities of the Aktion Club and some future projects
11. Jenise Steinman gave a report on the Halloween Party from last week at ISD and thanked those who helped
12. The Shoe Collection is running quite well and members are asked to continue to bring their shoes in ASAP
Today was Committee Day so we broke up into groups to discuss future projects
